| In Defence of Animals (IDA) In Defense of Animals is an international animal protection organization dedicated to ending the exploitation and abuse of animals by raising the status of animals beyond that of mere property, and by defending their rights, welfare and habitat.
The following companies (USA and international) have agreed to obey a new stricter standard of "not tested on animals." This new standard was established by a coalition of nine animal protection organizations to guarantee that products are, in fact, not tested on animals (either by the product manufacturer or any associated contract testing labs).
